About KINN
Our Story
KINN was born from the problem that so many moms face after they have their children: who am I now, and where do I fit in?
We moved to the Farmington Valley to be closer to family. I figured community would follow. It didn't, not really. I had my son, went on maternity leave, and realized I was home alone with a newborn and no one who actually knew me yet.
I looked for mom groups. I tried a few. Nothing fit, the vibe was off, or the people were at a completely different life stage, or it was just playdates with no real connection. I wanted somewhere that honored both sides of who I was. Professional and maternal, ambitious and exhausted, figuring it out and still showing up.
I couldn't find it. So when I got laid off in 2025, I stopped looking and started building.
That's the thing about motherhood though, it reshapes everything regardless of where you are in it. Whether you're in the thick of the newborn stage or your youngest just left for college, the question is the same: where do I fit now?

The Woman Behind KINN
Amy Buccieri
I spent years in corporate learning and development, building programs and communities for other people's organizations. Turns out I was pretty good at it.
What I wasn't good at was doing it for myself.
When I built KINN, I wasn't thinking about resumes or credentials. I was thinking about the version of me who moved here not knowing anyone, who tried the mom groups and left feeling lonelier than before, who needed a place that could hold all of it — the ambition and the exhaustion, the career and the baby, the woman I was before and the one I was becoming.
I validated the idea with 100+ surveys, found a space in Avon, and opened January 5, 2026 with 20 founding members already on board. Forty five members later, I'm still here every day, because this place is my favorite place to be. Everyday is a great day at KINN.

Our Space
We're in the heart of Avon, walkable to Whole Foods, steps from Dom's, easy to get to from anywhere in the Farmington Valley.
Big windows. Natural light. A couch you actually want to sit on. A desk where you can spread out and focus. Coffee that's always on. A room in the back for when you need a door.
We designed it to feel like the best version of working from home, without actually being at home. Come see it for yourself.
We're open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with evening programming throughout the month. Parking is easy, the coffee is always on, and your first visit will tell you everything you need to know. On any given day you'll find women with laptops open, conversations happening in the lounge, and someone who just became a regular. Membership starts at $85 a month — and there's a day pass if you want to try it first.
Frequently Asked Questions

Pretty low-key, honestly. Pack a lunch or run out to grab something, we're walkable to Whole Foods and right near Dom's. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable; there's no dress code here. Bring your laptop, your phone, and your headphones, we have everything else covered. Coffee is always on, and yes, there's Diet Coke. Come in, get settled, and let the day unfold.
-
You can absolutely just come in and work. Nobody is going to pull you into a conversation you didn't ask for. Headphones on means headphones on.
That said, most people who come in just to work end up looking up eventually. It happens naturally here. But it's never required, and it's never forced. You set the terms.
-
Yes. The main coworking area works well for casual calls, we just ask that you use headphones and talk at a normal level.
If you need a door, our conference room is bookable by the hour. Members get discounted conference room access.
Unlimited members get 3 hours included every month. -
KINN is designed for connection without childcare. Our programming and workspace are intended for mom-focused time, with the exception of our Postpartum Circles. If you are joining us for a Postpartum Circle, you can absolutely bring your baby.
-
KINN welcomes mothers at all stages - whether you're on maternity leave, between jobs, freelancing, or building a business. Our community includes stay-at-home moms, entrepreneurs, and corporate professionals.

Possibly, and it's worth asking. Many employers offer remote work, wellness, or professional development stipends that can be applied to a KINN membership. We're happy to provide receipts, invoices, or any documentation your HR department needs. Reach out to us at hello@kinncltv.com and we'll get you what you need.

It depends on the event. Some of our programming, like our Community Baby Shower and select community events, are open to everyone. Others are designed specifically for members. The best way to know is to check our events calendar, where everything is labeled. And if you come to an open event and love what you find, membership is a natural next step.

All kinds, honestly. We have remote employees, freelancers, business owners, and stay-at-home moms. Women on maternity leave and women who've been back at work for years. Some come on regular days, some come a few times a month. What they have in common is that they were looking for real connection in motherhood, and they found it here.
“There are mothers at every age and stage, and everyone genuinely belongs here.”
